We are glad to announce that NARBO will conduct the 9th Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Training this May 2014.
NARBO will conduct the training in collaboration with the Laguna Lake Development Authority in Philippines.
The training will deal with the Laguna Lake Basin as a case study. In this river basin, there are many attractive materials for IWRM, such as advanced water-related facilities for water supply and flood control, long history of water resources management and activities to improve river ecosystem involving local residents and stakeholders, including the implementation of polluters pay principles.
Successful participants will have many lectures by specialists from Asian countries and have opportunities of group discussions for enhancing the network among the participants and lecturers. The NARBO secretariat will invite participants in the training soon. Please refer to the 2nd announcement.
