This course includes an introduction to Integrated Water Resources Management principles and the basic concept of IWRM Planning leading to the overall goal of sustainable management and development of water resources.
Aim of the Course is to train participants how to develop and implement a water resources management plan that brings in the principles of IWRM and to provide insight into the tools and techniques required in the process of IWRM Planning.
The course is focused on the Indonesian water resources context especially related to the new water law UU 7/2004, the water quality regulation and the implications for River Basin Organizations their Management and the Institutional aspects.
Thirty participants submitted their CV.
After a selection process based on the participants selection framework, 20 participants were accepted.
