INTRODUCTION
ISoSUD 2011 is the 2nd International Seminar following the success of the 1st ISoSUD 2008 which held by Faculty of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Technology, Trisakti University in Jakarta. The meetings provide a unique forum for the presentation and discussion of recent work on different aspects of sustainable urban development.
The aim of the conference is to encourage and facilitate interdisciplinary communication between scientists, engineers, economists, professionals, and decision makers working in sustainable urban development. Emphasis will be given to those areas that will most benefit from the application of scientific methods for sustainable urban development, including the best practices around the world.
