Cipinang River Cleaned to Anticipate Flood

The Ranks of Makasar Sub-District with Pinang Ranti Urban Village are holding communal work of cleaning the Cipinang River.
Makasar Sub-District Head, Ari Sonjaya acknowledged several parties are involved in communal work they are Infrastructure and Public Facility Handling (PPSU) officer, Water Management Sub-Department and local residents.
“Communal work is done to make it more optimal,” he said.
During rainy season, flood frequently hit a number of locations crossing by Cipinang river. Residents in RW 04, Pinang Ranti Urban Village always floodee. While in Makasar Urban Village flooding often hit RW 05 and 04.
On this occasion, East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardhana also invited at once to instruct Water Management Sub-Department to send a heavy equipment.
