AguaJaring, Steering Committee Meeting, 8-12 January 2007
January 07, 2007
AguaJaring (former South East Asia Cap-Net) is a Capacity Building Network in South East Asia (SEA) region, and it is part of a larger network called Cap-Net, under the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
After building a networking and good relationship, CKNet-INA was invited to attend AguaJaring's Steering Committe meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 8-12 January 2007. In response to the invitation, CKNet-INA shared its experiences in Training Demand Assessment (TDA) and Capacity Building Needs Assessment (CBNA) to the forum. And it appeared that they are very interested in the concept, and would like to use it as the tools for getting the knowledge and skills needed in water sector in each country of the AguaJaring members. It was in this forum where SEA CapNet decided to change its name to AGUAJARING.
