Call for Abstracts & Special Sessions - XVIII World Water Congress
The International Water Resources Association (IWRA), along with the Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China (MWR), is pleased to announce that the call for abstracts and special sessions is now open for the XVIII World Water Congress on Water for All: Harmony between Humans and Nature, to take place in Beijing, China, 11-15 September, 2023.The Congress will facilitate knowledge and experience sharing, focusing on investigating the relationship between water, humans, and nature, identifying and reconciling all water-related factors in a coordinated manner, and formulating and implementing water management strategies and policies using systematic approaches.The International Scientific Committee (ISC) welcomes papers for oral presentations and poster presentations at the XVIII World Water Congress, which will be presented during the main congress programme. Experts, academics, policymakers, water professionals, private sector practitioners, and civil society stakeholders, from all disciplines and perspectives who wish to share their work and experiences during the Congress, are invited to submit abstracts. Abstracts can only be submitted online through the official Congress website.Submission GuidelinesAbstracts should clearly describe the research, analysis, project or investigation in 300-400 words, and include the following contents:a)The purpose or thesis of the work.b)The key issue(s) or problem(s) addressed.c)The methodology or approach used.d)The results or conclusions derived from the project.e)Relevance to the congress theme.Abstracts must be prepared in English and cannot include graphs, charts, diagrams, images, abbreviations, references or citations. Please don't forget to select one of the topics listed under the six Congress sub-themes you wish to address, and indicate whether you prefer to do an oral or poster presentation.Individuals submitting abstracts must first register for the Congress before submitting their abstracts. 6th IWA International Conference on Eco-Technologies for Wastewater Treatment
LEQUIA (The Laboratory of Chemical and Environmental Engineering of the University of Girona) and ICRA (Catalan Institute for Water Research) were selected to host the next (6th) conference of these series during the last ecoSTP21 held in Milan upon nomination and voting. EcoSTP-23 aims to discuss the latest cutting-edge eco-technologies for a sustainable transition in wastewater treatment, reuse, and resource recovery, at urban and industrial scale, but giving special attention to facilitate the efficient transfer of knowledge into practice, and guarantee that these technologies reach the market.However, building a more resilient future for water management needs a transdisciplinary and multi-domain examination, including socio-economic and governance aspects. International Conference on Flood Risk Management and Water Pollution 2023 (ICFRMWP 2023) at Malaysia
ICFRMWP 2023 is an opportunity for academics, students, scholars, scientists and engineers from around the world who are involved in the study, management, development and implementation of systems and concepts to combat information warfare or to improve Flood Risk Management and Water Pollution to come together and exchange ideas. This conference is trying to establish itself as a key event for the understanding of threats and risks to information systems, the development of a strong security culture, and incident investigation.Please consider submitting to this conference. We are interested in the entire range of concepts from theory to practice, including case studies, works-in-progress, and conceptual explorations.Prospective authors are invited to submit original technical papers by the deadline for publication in the ICFRMWP 2023 Conference Proceedings and for presentation(s) in the symposia listed below.
